Two of Midtown's great institutions are celebrating grand re-openings this Saturday, April 14th: Harv's Metro Carwash is celebrating its big remodel and Time Tested Books is unveiling its new digs in the space next to it's former spot.

Harv's is celebrating a new look and feel with a "bubble parade" and discount carwashes on Saturday. I'm there twice a week already keeping the car looking spiffy for clients (hey, it's tough being a Realtor) and the customer service is great—and I'll admit I'm curious to see what a "bubble parade" is.

The same day, another Midtown classic, Time Tested Books, is opening up for Second Saturday and celebrating their new space with 20% off all books on Friday and Saturday the 13th and 14th, plus there'll be live music and refreshments Saturday evening 5-9pm for everyone out enjoying the festivities.
